First Time Founders is a community for first-time software founders. The Site serves as an informational landing page where visitors can learn about our community and subscribe to receive access to our community platform and newsletter.

2. Subscribing

When you submit your email address through our subscribe form:

• You will receive an invitation to join our community on Skool, a third-party platform
• You will be subscribed to our newsletter on Substack, a third-party platform
• You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email
• You may leave the Skool community at any time through the platform

By submitting your email, you consent to receiving these communications. Your use of Skool and Substack is governed by their respective terms of service.

3. Community Conduct

Participation in the First Time Founders community on Skool is subject to our community guidelines, available within the Skool group. We reserve the right to remove members who violate these guidelines.

4. Content and Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, images, and design — is the property of First Time Founders or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use such as sharing links to the Site.

By submitting your email address or any other information through the Site, you represent that:

• You are at least 16 years of age
• You have the authority to agree to these Terms

The Site contains links to third-party websites and services, including Skool, Substack, and event registration platforms. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party services. Your use of those services is at your own discretion and subject to their respective terms.

Results vary. Building a startup involves significant risk, and outcomes depend on many factors specific to each founder and business.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, First Time Founders and its founders, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Site or participation in the community.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or fifty dollars ($50), whichever is greater.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless First Time Founders, its founders, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

10. Availability

We strive to keep the Site available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Site or any part of it at any time without notice.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and First Time Founders regarding your use of the Site.
